This year, Québec Tobacco-Free Week hightlighted the harmful effects of smoking on the health and lives of smokers as well as the consequences for their loved ones. In addition to compromising the health of thousands of Quebecers and accounting for close to one billion dollars annualy in related health costs, smoking reduces life expectancy by 10 years. A great many of you liked, commented on and shared the content on the Monde sans fumée Facebook page and more than 25,000 people joined our virtual community.
